Summer Sessions - Fast Track

GRAMMY Museum® Summer Session FastTrack is a week-long, day camp that offers young musicians', ages 9-14, insight into the creative and technological processes of recording and performing. Campers will be split into separate age groups (9-11 and 12-14) to virtually explore exhibits with GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi staff and learn about the influence of Mississippians on American music and our cultural heritage. They will study works by Mississippi artists featured in the Museum to inspire their final camp production.   Campers will receive instruction on recording techniques, music production, and live performance techniques. Aspiring songwriters will sharpen the skills of their craft while exploring song structure, harmony, melody, lyric writing and, where applicable, vocal technique. GRAMMY Museum Summer Session FastTrack will also provide campers the opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals and other students. Their work will culminate in a final production that will be featured on the Museum's social media channels.      Virtual participation is available for specific sessions.
