Songwriting Workshop with David Dunavent

David Dunavent, a blues artist from Sumner, Mississippi, will teach a workshop on songwriting to students in grades 9 – 12 in the Sanders Sound Stage. This workshop will instruct on some of the processes used in songwriting and different exercises you can do to build a good foundation on which to write songs. Through the process of speed writing, workshop participants will aid David in writing and completing songs.
