Mardi Gras Family Day

Join us for a Mardi Gras-themed Family Day featuring a conversation and performance with the Young Guns, a cowboy-themed entertainment group from the Mississippi Delta. Activities will also include dance performances and art activities with Delta Arts Alliance, plus an opportunity to jam out on the DMI Mobile Music Lab. 

All Family Day activities and admission to Museum exhibits will be HALF PRICE and take place from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Schedule of Events:

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  –  Explore Museum exhibits, participate in art activities with Delta Arts Alliance, and experience music production in the DMI Mobile Music Lab

11 a.m. - 2 p.m.  – Food Trucks on site

11:30 a.m.  –  Q&A with the Young Guns of the Mississippi Delta.

1 p.m. –  Special Performances by the Young Guns and the Delta Arts Alliance School of Dance Performance Squad
