FREE ADMISSION WEEKEND

CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH

In celebration of Black History Month, which kicks off on Feb. 1, GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi will host a weekend of free admission on Feb. 12–13, sponsored by the Nissan Foundation. The Museum will be open for free to the public during normal operating hours, and each day will feature a free screening of Soundtrack for a Revolution — a documentary exploring the important role music played during the Civil Rights Movement — at 1 p.m. in the Sanders Soundstage.

 

GRAMMY Museum Mississippi and its special exhibits will be open for free to the public on Feb. 12–13 during normal operating hours, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The Museum's current special exhibits include Willie Mitchell & The Music of Royal Studios and MTV Turns Forty: I Still Want My MTV.
