Behind The Scenes - Programs that explore the history and creative aspect of the music world.

Check out this interactive songwriting workshop that will give particpants a platform for sharing stheir stories and connecting with each other through music. Award-winning professional songwriter, James Tealy, along with songwriting students from DSU's Delta Music Instritute will get kids moving with an engagin session on the power of a song to help us express what we're feeling. No musical skills are required, just a heart that still believes in the power of a great song to change the world Recommended for grades 2-8. 

This program is presented in partnership with the Delta Music Institute Entertainment Industry Program at Delta State University. The DMI is an independent center under the College of Arts & Sciences at Delta State University with its mission to provide students with a broad and thorough education in the technological, creative, and business areas of the entertainment industries.
