INTERN POSITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration/Operations Intern

Assist with daily museum operations

Assist with office management projects and tasks

Assist in research for Museum content

Production/Public Programs Intern

Edit public program videos and events for future publicity purposes

Operate visual/audio equipment for different events and programs

Assist with exhibit interactives, software, and hardware

Assist in troubleshooting interactives

Education/Public Programs Intern

Support and assist with implementation and production of educational and public programs presented by GRAMMY Museum Mississippi Education & Public Programs department

Assist Education & Public Programs Manager with management, design, and/or instruction of education workshops presented by the Museum

Assist Education & Public Programs Manager with providing External Affairs Manager the updated schedule of Education & Public Programs events and all language to be used for website, social media and communications

Marketing/Communications Intern

Lead effort to improve our main communication tools that are used to engage with our visitors and members

Assist in reaching social media goals (including reach and website traffic)

Assist in marketing campaigns to attract and engage with Museum visitors

Museum Sales Intern

Analyze current sales results, customer satisfaction, and processes for Museum sales departments and identify opportunities for growth

Identify new sales leads for Museum sales departments and strategize on the best methods to reach these groups

Create promotions and campaigns that will drive interest for Museum sales departments

Hospitality/Special Events Intern

Assist with the planning and coordination (management and set-up) of Facility Rental events that include meetings, banquets, dinners, receptions, lectures, and corporate functions

Assist in event communication including timelines, calendars, reports, diagrams, and vendor assignments

Identify potential Facility Rental leads and potential marketing campaigns to support the financial responsibility for the Facility Rental department
