FREE for Educators Including CEU Credits
GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi and the Nissan Foundation are offering a FREE online Professional Development Workshop for educators in grades 4-12 entitled Songs of Conscience, Sounds of Freedom, which focuses on how music has shaped the ongoing Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and also explores issues in diversity, inclusiveness, and equity. This program offers 0.5 CEU Credits through Delta State University and is funded by the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation.
Workshop Dates and Times:

Saturday, October 17th, 2020 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Registration Deadline: Thursday, October 15th, 2020
CEU Requirements:
- Mandatory attendance at one 2-hour online Professional Development Workshop hosted by GRAMMY Museum Mississippi in partnership with the Nissan Foundation.
- Educators must teach the workshop for a 3-hour session (can be broken into multiple sessions) with their students either in class or virtually before February 26th.
All materials for the Professional Development Workshops will be distributed in PDF form prior to the workshop date. Classroom materials will be distributed by mail following the online Professional Development Workshops.
