GRAMMY Museum Mississippi License Plate Initiative
Museum friends and music lovers can support the Museum and its mission by ordering a GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi license plate. Once we have received the required 300 signed forms that need to be submitted to the Department of Revenue for the production process, the car tags will be available through your county license office. Proceeds from the sale of the specialty tags will fund priority educational programs at the Museum.
To apply for your tag, complete the application and submit the specialty car tag fee of $33.00. The Museum will receive $24.00 dollars per car tag to support programs. In order for the Museum to benefit, the initial 300 GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi specialty tags must be pre-sold.
Download the application below or visit the Museum Box Office to complete your application and submit the $33.00 fee (please write Mississippi State Tax Commission in the memo area of your check).
About the process:
- Once your application has been received, the $33.00 will be deposited in a Special Custodial at the Museum marked Mississippi license plates until the minimum of 300 tags has been reached.
- Once 300 specialty tags have been purchased, the Museum will submit a check to the Mississippi State Tax Commission along with the applications. The orders for the first 300 tags will be filled and then new orders will be handled by the county tag offices.
- The Museum will receive $24.00 for each GRAMMY Museum Mississippi tag sold in counties in Mississippi. The car tag program will help promote the Museum and fund Education programs.
