A Conversation With: Roger Fisher

Founding member of the rock band, Heart

Founder, guitarits, and a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Roger Fisher will discuss his longtime career in the music business in the Sanders Soundstage.  Joining Roger will be his brother, Michael Fisher who was Heart's manager for many years.

Heart started out as The Army in 193 in Seattle, Washington, and was formed by bassist Steve Fossen and brothers Roger (guitar, mandolin) and Michael (drummer, guitarist, manager, producer, engineer, sound engineer, light man).  The Fisher brothers recruited sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson in 1974 and soon after Heart rose to fame following the release of their debut album, Dreamboat Annie in 1976.

In February 1980, Roger left the group and joined the band Alias.  Alias had several hits, most notably in 1990 with the song "More Than Words Can Say".  Fisher has continued to pursue his music in other bands and as a solo artis and is currently touring the South promoting his new record, "All Told"  The One Vision Project".
